Project Shield

This was my first "debut" using V-Ray on a professional project and I was quite nervous tackling rendering for the first time at work. This was the time I was subscribed to Grant Warwick's Mastering V-Ray and the amount of information was overwhelming but in a good way.

I remember my supervisor staying late with me as he was our "resident V-Ray master" in 3Ds Max and was helping me translate Grant's tutorial in Maya. Really had fun with this project and it gave me a boost of confidence as this was the first time my supervisor gave me quite a "big" role if you will as I'm usually just delivering models for the team.

The best part about this project was meeting the director Richard Ang and being in a shoot for the first time and learning how shoots are done and most especially the long hours of being there.

I was responsible for modeling the helmet, designing the shield and rendering the two assets.
