For the Emperor's WIll

Back when I was starting 3D one of the first models I made was a Dreadnought and I thought to myself I'll make a Space Marine one day, but not with the skillset I had back then. Fast forward to now. I'm happy I was finally able to make a Space Marine.

I originally wanted to make a Space Wolf but within the given time period of 3 weeks I thought I wouldn't be able to pull it off especially since I didn't know how to make fur so I went with the boy scouts of the Space Marines, the Ultramarines. T'was fun making this. Learned a lot and got to apply lessons from Grant Warwick's Mastering V-Ray and from his other twitch feeds. Majority of the texture and shader too were procedurally so when I decided to model out the arms and applied the shader it came out quite natural. Learned how to translate some of his stuff too thanks to Magnus Olsson's blog.
