Beedrill

After working on the Chimerarachne I thought I'd create an insect and what better insect to make than a recreation of Beedrill in the real world. I was originally going to work on the Meganeura or giant dragonfly but thought I'd recreate Beedrill instead and think he a giant Wasp would look like in the real world. I even gave it a "scientific name" Vespa Tactomortis aka wasp with the touch of death.

I wanted to focus on detailing a 3D model more and bringing out those detail in the final render. Refining my shading skills and working on my tracking and animation skills as well.

My initial idea of Beedrill was that he needed to look aggressive and scary that you wouldn't even wanna mess with it in the bushes or even try to capture it when it flew in front of you.

Had a lot of fun working on this project and learned a lot. Even got myself to polish up my rigging.

Had a fun time rigging this!

Was playing around with the textures on the face and body making sure I didn't have too thick of lines and made them as angled as possible to make Beedrill look aggressive
